and put some gifts for the kiddoes under the tree. Imagine my surprise to find everything already out. My husband got up and did it, he even ate the cookies and drank the milk.

41. Got up around 5:00am. Now I'm waiting for

everyone else to wake up. Tree lights are turned on and I see Santa came last night.

Honestly, I woke up and couldn't go back to sleep because I have back ache. Time to pop a pain killer, lots to do today. Hmm..wonder if Santa brought me a new back?

42. Wretched cat woke me up again.

He got hurt in another fight just the night before last. Now he's whining to get out but no dice. I had to take him in for stitches Thanksgiving day. For that episode: $500 big ones, 3 trips to the vet, and 10 days with him having a lampshade on his head. Trust me, there was no joy here for those 10 days.

Don't think he'll need stitches for this one but he's not going out. I've been giving him antibiotics left over from last time.

Think I'll hit the hay. Better close the bedroom door so he can't wake me up again.
