Did anyone catch my back when it was on its way out |
|
and can you please send it the f back?
Omg. Being single means, when your back goes out, you are screwn. The only thing that seems to be working is walking and, you have to be able to put SHOES on to do that.
Arrgh.

2. Bo, but I'm watching your back because there's crazy people here. |
|
I'm sorry your back hurts. There's nothing worse.

You talkin' about me & my friends? :)
There is nothing worse. It's like an animal is chewing on your spine. And that makes it really hard to do normal things like take out the trash, dress yourself or pee.
I only wish I had better black market contacts that could deliver HEROIN on demand.
(At least I'm still here to bitch about it!
 )

It's the excrutiating pain while breathing that kills you the most. Is it lower back?

9. Yeah, lowest back -- that part you need to get up or down or move. |
|
Walking does seem to help a great deal. It was just so sudden. I suck at surprises.

12. I learned that all back pain is liver related |
|
so maybe try a liver cleanse when you feel up to it. I have a few natural, mild remedies if you want me to PM them, or you can buy some stuff at Whole Foods or Wild Oats. I also take an herb called Kang Gu Zeng Sheng Wan (I know, I know) but it stops lower back pain within a few hours.
When I get that lower back pain, I want to tear people's faces off. It's tough to deal with.

3. Damn. This is the day for everyone's back to be out. |
|
:(
 You're right about being single when something goes wrong. I am very sorry you're there alone.
I hope the pain and stuffness passes quickly. Be well.

4. Thank you, Thom. Walking helps as does not panicking. |
|
I'm not worth a damn with my back!
(List of things I take for granted!)

11. The only thing worse is caring for a young child alone when your back goes out |
|
When Mr. WMU was in Iraq I ruptured a disc. My daughter was 4 at the time. She tried really hard to help me with my socks and shoes, but it was too difficult for her.
Ughhh. I remember that pain very well. Find a good chiropractor if you don't already have one and rest, rest, rest - as much as you possibly can.
Hope it gets better soon!
