OK--Let's hear your New Year's resolutions. |
|
Mine is........now get ready.........I will do my very best not to get caught up in negative political discussions until after the Primaries are over. It'll probably be harder than quitting smoking, but I'll give it a try. Let's hear yours.

2. I need to be more mature at work. |
|
I need to be better organized and less emotional when I get in the weeds. I need to take things with a smile. But I need to employ a better strategy for handling everything so I don't have as many opportunities to feel frantic.
I also need to get fit. I have started working with a trainer. I need to keep it up, add more cardio at home and eat better.
I need to learn to drive.
I need to be more responsible with my inadequate income.
Eventually, I need to earn more.
That's about it.

13. Well, I have to do it. |
|
If I don't get a grip at work, I will be miserable, fired or both. If I don't get fit, I will keep getting sicker, and it will be harder to do everything else I need to do. Plus, the better shape I'm in, the less likely I am to need a hip replacement. (The car accident.)
My husband is going crazy being the sole driver. I have to share the responsibility with him.
And I'd love it if we could eat and keep our house!
;-)
If I make any progress, I will share my techniques.

I don't see a point in waiting until the new year to change something bout myself. If I decide anything needs to be changed about myself, I'll start right away.

5. stop eating french fries (again) |
|
two years ago I lost 60 pounds by stopping eating fries and fried foods. I have put a little of it back, and I want it off again.
Oh, and stop beating up midgets in public.

9. I was lucky. I quit with my husband. |
|
We figured we'd either kill each other or become non-smokers. Amazingly, we're both alive smokeless. The patch and lots of hard candy, my friend. And try to have a sense of humor about it.

12. I need to quit chewing nicotine gum |
|
I never smoked except for a month or so in college, but the gum is destroying me. It's also very expensive.
I'm really close to quitting, but somehow stress keeps making me chew more and more.
