In that one picture of me with devilgrrl my first impression was that I look a little old. I didn't have the chance to look at you or the camera, or to smile, or to put on my glasses before you took that pic. Though come to think of it now, I don't think I look that bad.

It is interesting that you refer to DizzyLand. The first time I remember hearing of Disneyland was when I was 7 years old, in the summer of 1958, and was staying at my grandmother's house in Illinois. (I later learned that Disneyland first opened in 1955.) Her house was a rather big two-story house, and I tripped and fell down a flight of stairs. After that I was given a thin leather necklace with a light pendant of Disneyland, as a gift, and (at the time I thought) to comfort me. I remember when they talked about Disneyland, I thought they said DizzyLand, and that that referred to my falling down the stairs.
