Peter Murphy's voice really irritates me these days

Back around 1982, I used to listen to me some Bauhaus, back before all that "Goth" shit got into swing and we just thought Siouxsie and the Banshees and Bauhaus and the Cure were semi-interesting post-punk bands.

But now I just cannot stand that guy's voice, particularly doing "Warm Leatherette."

1. I never liked him
Although I remember selling one of his records and getting a nice bit o cash for it. The Cure still sound good tho it depends in which record (-ing).

4. I think my band used to play that venue.
We weren't half as good as that duo, though.

7. I don't believe that for a second, while I appreciate her efforts...
and like the way she puts her clothes on backward; she gyrates like the ghost chick in The Grudge...and that's just messed up x( you guys had to be better than that

5. I guess this weekend is a good time to pull "Deep" and the old Bauhaus
from the vinyl stacks and give 'em some spins.

Thanks.

8. God, "Cuts You Up" is such an amazing song...
Seriously, a good song on it's own but it also came out at a very great time in my life so it brings back a lot of good memories for me.

6. In "Warm Leatherette" I keep expecting him to stop singing and say,
"You are beautiful and angular, and if you were a gas, you would be inert."

9. I like it!
I like that version better than The Normal's.
Peter Murphy has a soul touching voice. My first concert as a teenager was Murphy opening up for The Church-amazing and beautiful.
