It says she was a friend of Pete Seeger.
She was driving in California with her husband in 1962 when she was "inspired". She said "Bud, take the wheel, I feel a song coming on!".

We don't get Showtime so we have watched both seasons on DVD. We just finished disk 2 of season 2 last weekend, and we are already jonesing for season 3!
