At least know I know why I've been feeling so crappy |
|
I woke up, and my head was stuffed and my throat sore. I have sleep apnea, and sleep with a respirator mask on my face, and I could hardly breathe.
THANK GOD IT'S A COLD!
Sounds weird, right? Why would anybody be thankful for a cold?
Well, I've been having some issues with sleep, fatigue and appetite, which are early warning signs that my bipolar disorder is acting up, and I am heading into a depressive episode.
So, needless to say, I am overjoyed that this is a cold. I've spent enough time in the hospital and off of work from this stupid disease in the past year, so I'm very happy it's a cold.
YAY COLD!

I was in a bit of a panic yesterday... I've been feeling kind of crummy since Wednesday, and was home sick on Thursday. I guess it's just nice to know it's a cold, and that I can kill it off within a week or two. Those other episodes, you never know, unfortunately.

I'm about to make a run to the store for sicky supplies (kleenex, cold stuff, etc.). At least it got warm out.

I've sworn by Airborne and those Zircam sticks you put in your nose in the past. Gotta keep that cold-industrial complex afloat.

I called my mom this morning and told her, and she was wondering why I sounded so positive. :)

This year's been a real pain in the ass. I've been through about a dozen medications (with their side effects), two hospital stays, and a long spell away from work. So a cold should be no big deal. :)

16. No I actually know where you are coming from |

I've been on the verge of getting sick and my immune system was fighting and I felt like I was getting depressed and anxious. Weird how that happens, just gives me more evidence that depression is a disease of the whole body and not just a "mind" thing.
Hope you are well soon!
