Conversation I had in an ER waiting room

I was in an ER waiting room this past weekend, and I got into a conversation with the guy next to me. Apparently, his new girlfriend was having her prosthetic eye reattached after it had fallen out. He told me that they were in a bar when she had tripped on a wire on the floor and fell to the ground, causing the glass eye to become dislodged and fly through the air. Thankfully, the boyfriend was standing right next to her and was able to reach out and grab her eye before it hit the ground.

Despite his new girlfriend's handicap, the boyfriend is quite happy with his new woman, and apparently she is with him. When I asked him why she chose him, apparently she told him "Of all the guys in that bar, you were the only one who caught my eye!"
