Here is a web site that discusses .... "Credit Security Freeze.."
Basically, no one can get to your credit but you..with your permission if you put a freeze on it. This is a newly passed legislation in most states that restricts access to your credit info. It works well, but is not totally protective and inclusive... Read the info yourself. Every state has different laws and regs...
