Did the 23 year old CEO claim he took pics from Harvard for others to rate without Harvard's permission?

Is that not a form of ID theft? Or at least stealing data?

1. I think he got put on probation for it. Then he dropped out of Harvard.

And the rest is history. Though he did seem to be very very young.

2. apropo to nothing

at the local giant university with 40k students, they have posters all over the place warning about pictures etc. on both myspace and facebook because employers google people's names. If they see you with a beer bong passing the dutchie, it's not so good for your job prospects. Employers know about cached items, too. so, not a good idea.

unless you want to work for girls gone wild, I suppose.

I have never used my real name online just for that sort of reason. I've googled myself and I don't show up anywhere other than server specific places. I know quite a few other people who also will not post personal things online, esp. people who work in with dbs, etc.

I don't like facebook or myspace anyway because they seem like a particularly annoying variant of high school b.s. I had to have a facebook page at one point as an employee somewhere, but even then I used my title, not my name. the only time I've posted pictures online is here in the lounge.

I think I'll stop that, too.

...I actually take a little bit of pride in not having any of my pictures on my Facebook profile.
