AAAAAAAAAARRRG

YES, I'll reorgnise your diary even though you keep reorganising it back
YES, I'll add you to the distribution list
YES, I'll being the papers down to your car that you forgot to pikc up off your desk even though I put them there and told you so in person TEN MINUTES AGO
YES, I'll be telepathic and know when "bring that back to me later" really means "ignore what I'm saying and keep pestering me, cos if this doesn't get done I'll look bad asnd it'll be all YORU fault cos it's your job to keep me lookintg good" even when I have no idea what the issue in question actually involves because you won't tell me, somehow I'll just know
YES, I'll telepathically know when meetings three days hence are happening and put them in the diary weeks in advance EVEN WHEN THE PERSON ORGANISING THEM HASN'T TOLD YOU OR ME ABOUT THEM UNTIL TODAY
YES, I'll type up the minutes for 4 fuck off huge meetings AT THE SAME TIME as all of the above

AAAAAAAAAARRRG

Rant over.

I have five or six four-hour project, each of which is ABSOLUTE TOP PRIORITY!!!!!!! and each of which ABSOLUTELY HAS TO BE COMPLETED BY THIS AFTERNOON!!!!!!!

It becomes a bit tiresome after a while.

11. Um. How does that work?

Do you end up staying late? Or do you just work for people who have *stupid* ideas about top-down work prioritisation?

Adorably frightening? Frighteningly adorable?

17. Hey that aint nothin!
How about 3 major toxicological studies that have been underway for about 2-5 months with lots and lots of retests which require all hands on deck to do 5-6 hours of testing per day (including moi coming in on Sunday to make reagents that must be made the night before) with hundreds of data and compliance paperwork ALL DUE FRIDAY!!! GAAAAAHHHH!!! (or and lets not forget the testing that doesn't want to work right for 2 days in a row, D'OH!)
Sorry, have needed to rant for the past 2 days and this seemed as good as anyplace...
