I remember my first infinite loop... I was trying to make something in BASIC (back in the days of DOS) that I'd spent all day planning during school and writing out on paper. I typed it all in, got it all ready. Took quite a while. Didn't think to save though.

Then I hit run.

And unfortunately in this particular version of BASIC, there was no way to exit a program without rebooting if you were stuck in an infinite loop.

24. I programmed my first infinite loop on an Apple IIe when I took a

programming class (Pascal) in college in 1982. :P :rofl: It took a lot of work for me to do it, too. I was so proud because my program was running and appeared to be doing what it should until I realized it had been way too long. :P
