Other than the normal daily dose of classical music , they are the only recent pop artists that I like these days .
There songs are just directly from the heart.

But you're doing yourself a HUGE disservice if you think they're the only contemporary heartfelt pop-rock band with great songs. Check out Iron And Wine, The Shins, Bright Eyes or Guided by Voices and Built to Spill, to go for a couple of older bands. There's SO much great music out there!

But I remember them being just a struggling local band playing bars in Bellingham.

7. I like "Where Soul Meets Body" and "Crooked Teeth" |

Sort of liked "I'll Follow You Into the Dark" (I think that's the name), but it got old pretty quick. I still turn up the radio when I hear the other two. Two out of three ain't bad I guess. I haven't heard anything else by them.
