1. The first show I remember is the Bee Gees 1979 |
|
I saw them in their white polyester disco suits with an 11-piece band and 30-piece string section. I still have the program around somewhere, too.
My mom got us tickets for my 10th birthday, so what can I say? By the time I was 13, I was at Black Sabbath concerts, getting high off the "atmosphere". :P

at Ruby Diamond Auditorium at FSU in Tallahassee. I saw George Thorogood and the Delaware Destroyers during their 50 Dates in 50 States tour back in the late 70s. They hit all 50 states in 50 consecutive days. I think Tallahassee was around #30. They rocked the house for 3 hours and played three encores! He has been my favorite live act since then. I also saw Bruce Springsteen at the Vote for Change Tour in D.C. in 2004 with Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, James Taylor, REM, Pearl Jam, Jhn Fogerty, John Mellencamp and the Dave matthews Band. It was awesome!
