I can't help it. As a musician, I've been surrounded by performers for most of my young life. As a composer and writer, I've had the opportunity to work with some.
Goddammit, what is it about them? They look amazing, and they're usually incredibly brave, and their lives have the inherent drama to them I find so compelling.
I wanna date an actress. Now.

I'm a musician too. Stay away from the theater people at all costs. Run away, if need be. You should also be skeptical of singers - they're half way there already.

6. I did, on and off for two decades. |

Let's just say the drama was as addictive as it was toxic. Every time, we'd manage to stay together for a few months, before flying apart in an almighty conflagration. Yet the attraction remained, so months or years later, we'd collide again, only to fly apart like splitting atoms. The whole thing was exhausting and exhilirating, and always a very bad idea.
But I'm all over that now. I think.

7. Ah, I think I'm young and unencumbered enough to enjoy something like that. |
