2. what's the problem, crim son...?
Reno's not a bad town, but are you stuck there or can you get out of town? If you can get out, there are lots of beautiful places to visit. I meet friends in Reno for camping trips in the desert east of the Sierra, for example (although that's not for the feint of heart this time of year). Lake Tahoe and the high Sierra is just west of Reno, the great basin is north and east, and so on. Reno is a great hub for having fun in the intermountain west, or the eastern PNW.

6. Sorta stuck there.
It's a two day trip, a get-together with my three sisters to celebrate one's fortieth birthday.

I don't know why I am afraid to go. It's really weird.

8. I couldn't say.
I can't afford the trip and a kind sister has made all the arrangements for me. I'll travel with her and haven't discussed the details.

You're making me feel pathetic! :hi:

4. It will be
fun. The weather will be warmer and there are always interesting things to do and people to meet. The desert will be a good change of scenery.

7. Current weather in Reno:
36o with wind chill to 28o. Overnight low forecast of 19o with snow. The next few days are forecast to be the same, only with mixed rain and snow.

Reno sucks.

Why can't they all come here to my cold mansion? It isn't like I don't have the room!

You're right. Vegas! I'm going to Vegas. Oh, that's much better. :sarcasm:

20. I don't have any money. It will all be paid for by my sisters.
I will be afraid to eat more than a garden salad at every meal. Laughing. Which will do me some good I'm sure.

Legal hookers? Nah. 24-hour drinking? Mmmmm, maybe. :P

19. Relax. Get to the airport nice and early so you can drink before boarding.
Then everything will be fine.
