If a headhunter called me about a job in "Glowchester" Mass
That was how she pronounced it...

Am I out of line in correcting her butchering of the pronounciation? I believe Gloucester is pronounced "Glau-stah" or should I just let it ride?

... told her The Perfect Storm tie-in, to soften the blow.

As an interloper up there, I was befuddled by why I couldn't find places on the map. I'm good at finding places on maps.

Kindly throw the next headhunter a lifeline. Or a head.

2. It tells you that this head hunter is not hunting on ancestral grounds
She probably knows as much about the company she's hiring for, as she does about the area.

I'd give it a pass.

12. I get a lot of West Coasters e-mailing to offer me Boston jobs
But I already have a local agent for if and when I need a new job.

You're always better off going with an agent that's local to the area where you want to work.
