If a headhunter called me about a job in "Glowchester" Mass |
|
That was how she pronounced it...
Am I out of line in correcting her butchering of the pronounciation? I believe Gloucester is pronounced "Glau-stah" or should I just let it ride?

... told her The Perfect Storm tie-in, to soften the blow.
As an interloper up there, I was befuddled by why I couldn't find places on the map. I'm good at finding places on maps.
Kindly throw the next headhunter a lifeline. Or a head.

2. It tells you that this head hunter is not hunting on ancestral grounds |
|
She probably knows as much about the company she's hiring for, as she does about the area.
I'd give it a pass.

12. I get a lot of West Coasters e-mailing to offer me Boston jobs |
|
But I already have a local agent for if and when I need a new job.
You're always better off going with an agent that's local to the area where you want to work.
