Apparently, the slides in the attic prove I've always been a semi-nudist.

Some things are hardwired. Apparently I'm not alone in this. How many people until we can get a support group on DU?

1. Support group?
That makes it sound like we're trying to get over our nudist ways.

I'm a happy nudist, and I think we need some clothing optional meetups. :7

2. Howdy!
Yup, Mom would get me dressed last for church, coz I'd have everything stripped back off by the time she got the two younger ones dressed.

Home from work? Loungy.

I love the artwork of that guy. He does a whole bunch of that character.

I'm torn on your idea. The health code may come into play, and - for good beer - I'll suit up.

13. We've had 2 days of bad weather.
I've been hybernating, dealing with extra pain. :(

But it's all good. I get my powerchair on Friday afternoon! :woohoo:

I definitely could have used it today, but Friday will be here soon enouch.
:)

18. Have you tried...
... any of the emerging therapies for RA? I have Crohn's, with severe joint implications (but not RA).

It was such a wonderful thing to see a loving and supportive community come together. Do you have a spare DU bumpersticker for it?

: )

Anytime the weather or anything else has you down or just a little sidelined, don't hesitate to drop me a line.

21. Right now
I can't make any changes because my Reumatologist is out on maternity leave. She has someone covering for her, but she's a much better doctor so I'm waiting until she gets back.

But right before she went out on leave she mentioned that we're going to try some new stuff when she gets back.

I do have a DU bumpersticker!
Matcom sent me one. :)

I'm very sorry about your Crohns. You would definitely understand joint pain. :(

If I can get online on the bad days I definitely say something, and I'm always up for talking.

3. My now 26 year old son has always been this way.
Now, he's back at home, and I've warned him. He will, at least, place a towel in front when he walks through the house looking for who knows what. He never liked clothes, ever since he was a baby.

4. It makes for less laundry. I'm trying to be more green.
:P

Show him the art. Bet he laughs knowingly.

More of the artists' characters (including Trendy Wendy, Merv the Perv, etc.) can be found here for http://www.davidandgoliathtees.com/index.php?mode=HC">his clothing, and his name is Todd Goldman, if you want to see http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&q=todd+goldman&gbv=2">his paintings.

So, what's the biggest crimp in your style having him back home?

6. I leave him alone. We moved, downsized,
and due to circumstances, he's here living with us. I hope he'll have the time to venture out in this new area of the country and find his way. He's working, but he's out of town a lot. I'm used to his ways, but he is living in our guest room for now, so we're looking for alternatives. I hope to help him buy, instead of rent, and then he can have his own domain.

8. He has to get in his own space.
I understand this whole concept, since my SO and I were living alone for a few years before he came back. That's why I think it's so important all around that he has his own living space. We got used to being the masters of our own domains!

10. We moved to the Dallas/Ft. Worth area 2 1/2 years ago.
He's been with us for 1 1/2 years. He's working as a sound tech for a theater service co. here. It's a much warmer climate, and he likes it so much better than the midwest, where we move from. He's really a Jersey boy, growing up in S. Jersey. We moved around a lot with my SO's job. He's still trying to find himself, and he's more of a hand's on learner. He finished jr. college, but he's still not focused. He's going to be a late bloomer, and I'm okay with that.

11. Lucky Guy...
... to have a parent who sees it for what it is.

What part of the audiophile thing really grabs him? I doubt he fell into that by accident. What's the core interest at the heart of the late bloom, you think?

What does your SO do?

12. Dave, you're getting way too personal!
His father has always been in the theater business, and my son has always been into sound, for what it's worth. Yes, his dad has helped in the job dept. The late bloom, I think, will come out as self-expression, as in art. He's always loved doing ceramics, as have I, but he's really interested in welding. We'll see what happens in the future.

It made me walk through some things I needed to look at. I appreciate that.:pals:

Who knew this would come from your OP, right? I'm too personal, I guess.
