Plus, it sort of resembles my tattoo. I know that doesn't mean anything, but hey.

I tried putting both in to decide, and only one will show up. Must be a limitation on what you can stick in a sig line. :hi:

22. I just had a weird couple of days for me.
I've been poor most of my life, so I really just DON'T spend money. Yet I spent over a hundred bucks today, combined with another over a hundred a few days ago... 'tis quite strange.

Granted, only about 30 of that has been for things that I wouldn't consider essential. The rest has been school supplies, clothes (now that I live in a house that doesn't have a washer and drier, I need more clothes. Because I never know when I'm gonna have a chance to get to the laundrymat. :P ) and investments in things to keep me healthy and save me money in the long run. I.E., my own ice skates so I don't have to keep renting them. :) The 30 for myself was for a cheap mp3 player. It's about damn time I get one. I'm a musician and a computer geek. I shoulda gotten one years ago. I just didn't have the cash to spare until now.

24. Same for me!

I had to buy a new outfit for my interview, and pay a bunch of bills -- i think i spent more money in one day than i had in the previous month!

That's cool that you got skates! I used to play hockey in HS. I miss it! And now you can do laps and listen to your music too. :D

34. Which I'm sure will be far better than the crap they play on the PA there. :)
Edited on Sat Feb-02-08 08:03 PM by DarkTirade
I never played hockey, but my brother used to work at an ice rink and he got me in often enough that I got fairly competent on the ice. Couldn't skate backwards, but I could at least stop without needing a toepick.

Unfortunately that was about 13 years ago. :P So I had to start all over. Now I'm going often enough that it's well worth the 80 bucks for a decent pair of hockey skates vs. 2.75 for rental every time. (2.75 x average of twice a week = 275 bucks for a year. 80 < 275) Not to mention that my skates are 10x better than any skate I could rent there.

I've gotten back up to the point where I can do a spin stop, but I haven't gotten my T stop back yet. Although the new skates helped tremendously last time I went skating. I actually had sharp blades, and therefore I had enough traction to do tight turns. :)

28. I like the way the "old" one moves, as well as the stripe down
its back. Looks like he's walking, the "new" one looks like he's squirming.

The stripe - reminds me of the skinks we used to find at my old house with blue stripes down their backs :)
