They just took my Dad to the hospital.
My mother called here and said he could not breathe. I could not get her to call an ambulance. She called the neighbors and they took him. The hospital is ten miles away.

I tried to get her to find her purse and put her cell phone in it. I don't know if she did that.

She spoke to my middle brother and I called him. She wants me to call our little brother in California, but I will not do that in the middle of the night until I know more.

My dad is 82.

12. Sending thoughts and good vibes...I really hope your Dad will be OK.
 I know firsthand how scary that can be - when I was 14, my dad was taken to the hospital because he couldn't breathe and was having chest pains (he was 46). We thought he was having a heart attack, but it turned out to be a massive pulmonary embolism. :scared: Luckily they were able to break up the clot and save him, but it was still really scary for a while. I hope they are able to help your Dad as well. :pals:
