Dogs are great.
They know things.

Earlier this evening, I did not feel well. I think that endocrinologist had my meds screwed up. Anyway, I was sweaty and sick, so I had to sit down. My dog came and sat next to me. She did not demand anything, or do anything. She just pressed up close to me and stayed there.

Then, I got a call that my dad was taken to the hospital. She came and sat with me again.

Dogs seem to know when we need them.

1. My dog is like that too.
He has "taken care" of me through some very difficult times, and when I am sick.

2. I always imagine dogs talking to me
in Don Ameche's voice from the first Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey movie.

3. Dogs read our moods and body language better than any other language
It's also a fact that their olfactory ability can detect minute changes in our metabolism. I have feeling that your dogs knew exactly what you're going through.

Dogs are supercool.

5. I agree - dogs are awesome.
:) I can't even begin to count the number of times that my Katie has sensed that something was wrong w/one of her humans, and snuggled up to give comfort. :loveya: Dogs are great, indeed. :hi:

6. Doggies would save the world, if we'd only let them.

7. They are highly emotionally sensitive. We are incredibly lucky that they wish to be with us.
I hope that you're feeling better.
