Well, her music is catchy...

Sounds like early to mid sixties Motown to me...

With a little Phil Spector added in for good measure...

Add some "edgy" lyrics, tatoos, drug abuse and the critics are going ga ga...

At least she ain't breathy...

Bessie Smith, I don't think so...

Ronnie Spector, yea maybe...

But her songs were only two and a half minutes at the most...

Winehouse songs seem to drag a little at the end...

Anyway, she's better than most of the shitty pop music that dominates the culture...
