I had my last cigarette
one year ago today....

and I feel GREAT!!!!


Yes I still get urges.. but then I think about how far I have come
and it makes me forget my urge!!!

But my grandma (who quit over 20 years ago) got emphysema nonetheless... it is very, very hard to watch her deteriorate. I wish all the time that she had quit earlier. :(

It seems like kicking the smoking addiction really takes a lot out of people. I know I'm very incredibly fortunate to never have been addicted to anything, so I really don't know first hand what it's like.
