This is actually the first year that the Running of the Reindeer has been a part of our Fur Rendezvous winter festival, and it really was a huge success. There were two separate runnings, one for 500 women and one for 500 men. Participants paid $20 for the privilege and the proceeds went to Toys for Tots and the Wounded Warrior project, so it was all for a good cause.

(Although later this week there will be a reindeer sausage eating contest at Humpy's, a local pub.) :rofl:
