I quit smoking three years ago

and 2-3 times a week I would dream that I am smoking. I quit drinking and started eating healthy a couple of months ago, and now all I dream about is drinking beer and eating junk food. Why does our mind play such cruel jokes on us?

1. It used to be the same with me

I would wake up praising Jesus that it wasn't true. It was like a nightmare. I quit for 7 months, but here I am smoking again.

2. When I was dieting

I would dream I was eating chocolate cake.
It would seem so real at times that I would wonder if I had really eaten cake and blown the diet.
