Got all my stuff together.
Went up to the register.
$650

My heart just about stopped.
That is my story.

13. I did. I knew it was going to happen.
But seeing the numbers in green and black was still a little... shocking.

21. Yes.
And no, no whiskey. There will be some scotch there, but we already have about 20 different single malts, so that wasn't needed.

This is the drink menu:

14. A good list - but Alize? ALIZE?!?!?! You actually hang with people who drink that shit?
:puke:

Ewwwww...

You redeem yourself with the Cointreau, but come on -

what kind of Champagne?

22. The Alize is for a cocktail
Which is actually really damn good. I don't particularly like the stuff myself, but the red one mixed with vodka and cranberry is delish I gotta admit.

The champagne is just, mmm shit which is it... Frankly I can't remember, but it's something CHEAP and DRY. Drinkable. I think it was about a 1. We had to go with cheap cheap cheap because we needed *A LOT*. And, it's going in a cocktail with gin and cointreau, so it's not like you can tell a Dom P from a $15 bottle when you're also sucking back gin. Didn't cheap out on the gin though.

I think it's actually a henkell trocken, which is of course not *real* champagne, but for the purpose was just fine.

32. Ah, the French 75! Yes, no need to use a pricey champagne or sparkling wine for that.
Good cocktail, that one.

Do you add lemon or lime to yours?

I actually prefer Proseccos for Champagne cocktails.

I tried to pick things with a broad appeal, have one fruity and sweeter, the other dry and smooth. I hope it works out ok.
I'm not sure, I was thinking of a lemon garnish, just a twist or what have you.

I posted the bar menu to JVS a couple of posts up from this.

12. Suicide Punch is much cheaper:
1 New large diaper pail
1 Ladle

Guests bring their choice: a 5th of whatever, or 1/2 gallon fruit flavored or vanilla ice cream

Cost to you about 12 bucks.
