My mother called me a bit a go. Aunt Hazel died in her sleep. She would have been 96 this year. My grandmother passed way in 98, and that was the last time we had seen her. She lived in Iowa. What I always remembered most about them was how happy and close that entire family always was. And it's no wonder. They grew up poor and only had each other. My favorite memory was waking up in the middle of the night to a crash and hearing them laughing so hard. My grandmother lived next door to us and her back bedroom was like 20 feet from my bedroom. They had got to horsing around and the bed broke. They were two heavy set women on a frame bed. I will never forget all the laughter. And they both taught me so much. That was a great family. And our world is a bit darker today. Duckie
