really hate my hair right now. Sunday i'll be packing for my vacation.

Family reunion the next town over, so she's coming to torment me. But my sis is coming in as well, so she can run interference.

3 or 4 dogs are scheduled for baths this weekend;

Laundry (mine. you'll note my laundry comes AFTER the dog laundry. messed up as that is.);

Filling in holes dug in back yard;

Raking;

Finish off my taxes, send them out;

Raking out front (if it doesn't rain);

Clean my closet;

Try to finish up a title project I've been working on for another DUer;

Gym;

Errands for my mom;

I think that might be it. I'm really livin' large, ain't I.

14. State Democratic party convention Saturday, though I'd rather be

watching the American LeMans series, but then that lasts 12 hours. I'll have time to catch up.

Sunday I will recuperate from the convention.

17. On Friday, I drove 285 miles from Seattle to Eugene, in pounding

rain and heavy traffic. It sucked big time, but I'm staying with one of my sister's, so that's definitely cool.

Only thing is, I have to drive back to Seattle on Sunday. Where in the HELL are my Ruby Slippers when I need them?

Tomorrow I'm carving the wax and investing, and tomorrow night or Sunday I'm casting them. Naturally I waited to buy the gold hoping it would come down. I bought 22grams of 18k casting grain yesterday at what will probably be golds historic peak.

unfortunate that gold is so expensive now. Every year I think about buying a ring I saw in a catalog years ago - an octagonal gold ring based on a Roman- style design. But I've never seen it again, and gold is well, whew!
