3. I was at a school today that celebrated PI day. They served apple pi to all
students during lunch.

The students decorated a paper chain. Each link contained a number representing a decimal point of Pi worked out to six hundred and some odd decimal places and spread them around the seventh and eight graders who lined up in a formation of Pi and r2...

At 3:14 precisely, the cheerleaders did a special Pi cheer. Then two girls did an acrobatic rendition of the Greek alphabet.

Since this is Florida and the kids just endured three days of the FCATS, the principal decided to let them off afternoon classes and to enjoy Pi.

6. I meant to try and get one of those cheap little square-shaped pies from a convenience store today
but I didn't have time.

Why a square? Well, because on pi day, pi r squared. :)
