Do you (or does anyone in your family) start on a new box or bottle of something before
finishing the 'first' container? Someone in my household -- who shall remain unnamed -- does this, and it drives me NUTS! Now, this only bothers me if the newly opened product is the exact same as the one that is already opened. For example, starting a new bottle of shampoo before the old one is finished, opening a new box of cereal before the other one is finished, starting a new tube of toothpaste while the old one is still 1/4 full.

I hate to sound like a control freak, but I hate having half-full stuff around; I end up consolidating bottles of shampoo, boxes of cereal (can't do it with toothpaste :D ) just so there aren't dozens of containers scattered around the shower or cluttering the shelves.

Do you do this? Confess! Or does it drive you nuts, too?

Cereal and milk seem to be what I notice most. I have two boxes of Apple Jacks open right now. Drives me nuts too.

6. two boxes of Bran Buds open, several blocks of Swiss and
Parmesan cheese, several bottles of Pantene --- I buy in bulk, if I can, but if I make the mistake of putting stuff in the fridge or making it available (have to store perishables; maybe I should get a second storage fridge) then he just grabs the first container of what he wants and uses it. Like he can't remember that there is already-started butter, or cheese, or cereal. This happens EVEN IF he was the one who opened the package of cheese or box of cereal a few hours earlier. Makes me want to pull my hair out. A relatively small complaint, one not worth mentioning anywhere but here.... sigh

2. Sounds like my mother's house.
She has half empty bottles of shit in her cabinets from the seventies. And I crap you negative. And this woman has even been through a flood where she lost everything, EXCEPT FOR HALF EMPTY BOTTLES OF SHIT FROM THE SEVENTIES!

3. lol! You crap me negative - haven't heard it put like that
before  :D

I probably couldn't control myself if I were in your mom's house; I'd consolidate everything (or throw it away when she wasn't looking).
