The Easter Feast is over. |
|
We departed a bit from the traditional. Pork tenderloin roasted to perfection on the grill. Came packaged in a cranberry-pomegranate marinade. From Sam's. Just grill, baste, and eat.
Spuds, asparagus (NOT cast), bullet (English) peas, salad and 4 layer lemon cake. Yum.
70s and blues skies on the gulf coast today. Poifeck.
And now settled in with a Scotch & soda. The end of a perfect day.
How was your Easter?

Down the street with friends. 14 of us. I did the pork and everybody brought something. Most gatherings here are a joint effort. Easy and fun.

Now, that sounds really nice!
And yummy too...
Me and my husband tend to be hermits on Easter...
We're just having a quiet day at home...
I went out to shop, and all the malls are closed!
Our dinner will be later: Roast chicken, baked potato, and steamed asparagus!
We go lightly on the desserts for dietary reasons...
Our weather is perfect too...bright blue skies, hardly any clouds, and warm!

If I eat anything tonight it'll probably be a couple of tablespoons of peanut butter.

9. Thank you, and thanks for asking. |
|
A grandmother had a friend named Cordelia. She was always nice to me when I was young, not that I saw her all that often. But I always thought Cordelia to be a beautiful name and a beautiful lady, and for some reason I thought of her the night I registered here. Wine was likely involved.
I hope after I am gone, someone will think of me for no real reason.
The real Cordelia's long gone, but she's remembered as being a good person, by me anyway, and I think those who knew her.
Funny where we draw from, isn't it?
