I think we're alone now.....
Who did that song ORIGINALLY?

When I google it up it's either Tiffany or Click Five....a-n-d that's just not right....

I want to say the Monkees, but I'm a "foodie" and not so good with music...

Thanks for the help :-)

Lyrics:

Children behave
Thats what they say when were together
And watch how you play
They dont understand
And so were

Chorus:
Running just as fast as we can
Holdin on to one anothers hand
Tryin to get away into the night
And then you put your arms around me
And we tumble to the ground
And then you say

I think were alone now
There doesnt seem to be anyone around
I think were alone now
The beating of our hearts is the only sound

Look at the way
We gotta hide what were doin
cause what would they say
If they ever knew
And so were

Repeat chorus

I think were alone now
There doesnt seem to be anyone around
I think were alone now
The beating of our hearts is the only sound

1. Wikipedia knows all...
"I Think We're Alone Now" is a song written by Ritchie Cordell that was a 1967 hit for American recording artists Tommy James & the Shondells and re-popularized 20 years later by Tiffany.

2. Merci beau coup (thank you very much)
I did come across Tommy James & the Shondells for it, which led me "Chrystal Blue Persuasion" :-)

I don't know why I keep thinking the Monkees though.

Thanks so much for your help :hi:
