I can't paint my toenails just yet. About two months ago I dropped something heavy on my left big toenail and the nail cracked off halfway to the cuticle. At the moment I did that, a stream of the bluest language ever heard this side of the Mississippi was heard emanating from my very lips. Such language has not been ever heard outside a baseball dugout. In other words, it hurt a %&^*# lot.

Now I have about 2/3 of a big toenail on that foot, so no open toes for me yet. Thankfully I have a pair of "fisherman" style sandals that hide the poor piggy.
