Had kind of the day from hell today.

My coworkers never seem to listen to me or acknowledge what I have said. Maybe I should talk louder, perhaps they are deaf.

I went to the dentist for a filling. Even with insurance, it was $77. I am glad this happens rarely for me.

Went to the doctor for my annual physical (not the woman stuff, just run of the mill checkup). I told him about my occasional headaches. He felt around my neck muscles and apparently they are really tight. So I am going on muscle relaxers, just at night for a week, to see if that helps. What I probably need is good massage therapist. I have been having these headaches since I was a kid (it's isn't a recent thing at all) so I find it hard to believe it's from muscle tension. Unless I have been tense my whole life. It's highly probable in fact, being sort of a Type A. But we'll see. And they did the usual blood draw and poking and prodding. But there is one other area of concern and I have been scaring myself on WebMD (bad idea). So I am going back next week. Wish me luck.

In addition I am seeing a specialist in a couple of weeks for a probable ganglion cyst on my wrist. Not a major concern, true, and I guess they just stick a needle in a drain it. I am not worried about it. It's just seems like a lot of stuff going on all at once.

AND I have not yet got my thesis back from my professors. Guess they are giving it a good going over. I hope I don;t have to rewrite the whole thing!

I am sure it will work out okay. I am just not used to this. It's why I stay away from doctors. What you don't know can't hurt you, right? (I'm kidding really).

5. I had to ban myself from WebMD.

I was recently diagnosed with a chronic pain condition, which is painful (obviously) but harmless in terms of actual, physical damage. For some reason, I kept going on WebMD and finding other - inevitably more terrifying - things which match the symptoms. After a month of panic, that was enough of that. :P
