I've got it! It's all a plot! |

I finally figured it out. WifeSwap where you have two fathers and their families increasingly being reacting with anger and hate to their temporary mother, Big Brother where you win by lying, conniving, and stabbing each other in the back, American Idol where Paula no longer makes any sense and Simon drips acid and cuts everyone down... They don't WANT us to watch mindless network tv any more. They're trying to force us to watch PBS. :wow:

2. But it's not working. The suckier the show, the more viewers it gets. |

3. It worked for me tonight. |

I have a feeling that it's going to continue to work in the future as well.

all I watch. Other than that, no TV for the most part. Except for PBS, I wouldn't miss it if we didn't even have a TV. :hi:

Heck, if it weren't for PBS, I'd never get to see most of the world. Only way I get to travel these days. LOL

Someone interviewed on Newshour last night said that PBS news was the only real news left on tv, he made Jeffery Brown blush almost.
I watch a little TVLand and sometimes John Stewart but I could do without that. I need my Newshour though, I'm crazy about Jim and Gwen, and Margaret! :loveya:

9. Gwen is not what I would call |
|

an unbiased journalist. Hack is more the word I'd use in her case. I can't bear to watch her.
I refer to her as Gwen Awful.

usually are pretty good, there are some of their commentators that bear taking with a grain of salt or not listening to at all.
Washington Week in Review with Gwen Awful is one of the worst "news" programs around. Just a bunch of hot air being blown about for the most part.
Neal Conan on NPR is another blowhard.
