Can you put raw garlic into a salad?

My garlic and red potatoes are roasting in the oven. I tossed them in olive oil, salt & pepper... baking at 400* F for 20-25 minutes. Once they are cool I'll mix 1/2 cup mayo with 1/2 sour cream, salt, paprika, & pepper plus about a 1/4 cup of fresh chives (from the garden) and toss it all together and chill. I use 1/2 head of garlic to every 2 pounds of potatoes... very garrrrlicky!!!

It's usually in the dressing though. I use olive oil, some type of acid (lemon juice, red wine vinegar, apple cider, etc...), herbs and maybe mustard. Sometimes the garlic is minced and sometimes sliced, but it is always tasty. Go Garlic!

Yes, put raw garlic into your salad, and the girl's. As long as you do something about your breath you might be in for a good night. I had a wonderful night last night and we had garlic in our pasta.
