Happy birthday to you! How was your birthday?

Mine was great. My friends at work made me cupcakes and cookies and brought me wonderful gifts like a gorgeous hydrangea plant, fancy gourmet salts and spices, beautiful gray felt placemats, and more. My best friend (who lives in another state) sent me an awesome package with a robot lunch bag, some super cute notecards, and a felt deer that is also a measuring tape! Everyone who knows me knows that I *heart* felt! :)

My husband bought some of my favorite flowers (tulips and daisies) and ordered from my favorite Thai restaurant. He even bought these amazing mini lava cakes from Trader Joe's. Oh, but the best part was when he called me at work and had our kitty leave me a meow message. It was sooooooooo cute!

I feel very lucky and loved today.
