Pictures from a demonstration in Mexico City
I took these from my hotel room this morning. There was a huge demonstration against the privatization of Pemex that lasted for a couple of hours. The entire street was jammed with people as they marched by. Apparently, they are well aware of what will happen to them if the privatization actually occurs.

6. It was loud, but peaceful.
I went down the the street and watched "close up" for a while. While my spanish is terrible, I find most of the people I meet there are really great folks.
