Why do people have to.... |
|
touch my jacket sweater, etc. - on the back of my chair - at work, whenever they come over to talk to me? Grrr. Alright, so I am a germaphobe (sp?). I still don't get it. I mean, isn't that intruding on one's personal space?
Does that kind of thing bother anybody else here?
I think the wind is making me irritable today.

Hmmm...I guess it would depend on how it's done...
Are you wearing it when they touch it?
I'd guess not, from how you posted this...
Maybe a lot of your friends are touchy-feely types...
I have not had that happen to me...
I'm sorry, sweetie...
I'm not sure how I'd react...

2. It's usually on the back of my chair... |
|
and, the last time it happened, I asked the guy who did it to please take his hand off my clothes! lol Yes... he looked at me like I was from Mars. :-( Thanks for the hug, Peggy.

3. hey, now that you're a Harley Rider |
|
...get a black leather vest and put a big skull and crossbones patch on the back of it. Then, if they touch it, tell them to get their damn hands off your cut or they'll pull back a stump :P

7. Tell them not to do it. |
|
Nicely tell them. I'm thinking it's just a force of habit, which I am sometimes guilty of. I am sure they will understand. :) :hi:

Any suggestions? Thanks. :hi:

Hello, I would appreciate if you do not touch my jacket when you approach my desk. It's just a thing that I have. No offense. I hope you understand. Thanks.

9. When they touch it, just work this into the conversation: |
|
So sorry that's so dirty. I sneezed all over it this morning and haven't had time to clean it up!
