If you haven't it is a fantastic book. I can't wait until the movie comes out. I would almost prefer if a network like HBO or Showtime would have made a series of it though. I think that would allow the stories to be fleshed out a bit more, and give a chance for new stories.

Anyone have an opinion on this?

1. never read it, but i want to
i think a zombie series on HBO or on any channel would be awsome. If done right, it could be a multi-season thing as characters try to survive and form a new society.

6. Agreed, agreed, and agreed!
World War Z is an awesome book! Took me only a couple of days to read through it. I couldn't put it down!

I agree that the series would be a fantastic idea, but I'm looking forward to the movie nonetheless. Apparently a few people have seen the script, and so far they say it looks absolutely outstanding. A little different from the book, or course, but evidently it really fleshes out some of the stories. Somebody who read it(my apologies for no links) said it could be the best zombie movie ever made if it were done right.
