I recently started giving him "Grass Be Green", a product to stop his urine for making yellow patches in my lawn. Well I not sure if this related, but he seems to be off his feed. I can get him to eat a little bit, but he's acting like he did when I first got him. This product has 133 mg of dl-Methionine in two tablets. Could this be effecting him in this way?

1. I am not sure but whats wrong with a little lawn damage? |

So you have spots on your lawn, why risk your dogs health for that? I am not trying to be mean or judgmental but I would NEVER do that to my guys & I have six of the critters. Any time you give an animal any kind of drugs there are bound to be side effects.

3. I'm not sure if that's the cause, but |

I wouldn't give my animals any drug that wasn't entirely necessary. 133 mg sounds like a LOT. Unless there are numerous tests that cover the lifespan of many dogs saying that this drug doesn't have any negative side effects (which, really, how many drugs don't have any side effects?), I wouldn't use it just so that my lawn looked perfect.
Dogs pee in the yard...it's what they do. And chemically altering their urine to keep your grass green sounds, frankly, ridiculous.
