News to guitarists
I have a few hand-made guitars that have incredible sound, and are "too
fragile to travel with." An old friend who makes some of these guitars
for me has recommended an outfit in Canada that makes cases to order, and
they are apparently as sturdy as the old legendary Mark Leaf cases. Their
name is Calton, and they are in Calgary, Canada (as well as in the UK).

I will be placing my first order as soon as I get a free hour to take the
necessary measurements for my instruments (a free hour--should be some time
in late 2013 the way things are going, but I'll try to steal the time).

No idea what they cost. I figured why spoil the good news by asking?

1. That could be handy for me.
I'm thinkin' about making' my own electric guitars. Some of them might be a bit of an odd shape. Most namely my idea I had for an anhk shaped guitar. :)

3. Hey, maybe you could get Prince to play it
Instead of that whatever it was he used to play on.

An Ankh guitar would definitely be On Beyond Zebra for him.

7. I think his was in the shape of his name symbol thingy.
Similar to an anhk, but I think it was modelled more after the male and female symbols.

9. Ah, I found something about it online. :)
On June 7th, 1993 (his 35th birthday), Prince announced that he would change his name to an unpronounceable symbol. The glyph incorporates the male and female signs along with the alchemy symbol for soapstone.

Hmm. Soapstone. I wonder why?

5. Some of my guitars couldn't be replaced for twenty times that
So it would be worth it to me. Definitely the smaller investment.
