my weekend room makeover project is complete(pics included)

my brother moved out for college about a year ago, and since then his room has been sitting half empty. one of my little sisters is getting older so i decided to start working on turning the room into her new room.

i spent saturday doing the first coat of primer, did the second coat sunday, and today i painted it blue, hand painted some stars(she's into astronomy) pulled up the floor tacks from when the carpet was down, scrubbed the floors, put together and moved furniture, decorated, and put up her clothes, toys, and books(in my neat-freakish way).

here's some before and after pics.. i'm pretty happy, and considering how much damn work i did today i am tired and worn out, lol.

she loves it and has been hanging out in her room all afternoon... makes the hard work worth it ;)

but without his stuff there it does look odd, lol.

yeah... i could've done more stars, but i figured one wall was enough. besides, the planets are only hanging on one wall. ;)
