What the Wiley and Excellent Boy Cat Named Ginger does when the neighbors are away.
Edited on Sat May-10-08 01:29 AM by Heidi
He sits in the shade beside their pool until they return. Then, when they return, he sits atop the granite wall at the property line and scowls at them for returning. It's a cat's life.

2. Heya, BreezeChick!
I've been hiding in GDP. :hi:

I think Ginger scowls at the neighbors because they show absolutely no appreciation for the time and effort he devotes to "watering" their flowers and shrubs. :spray:

4. Cat's are so funny like that, LOL!
I swear, I think my kitties, as well as my dog, are all "brain damaged" because of all the silly things they do.

And, in my house, the term "brain damaged", is a term of endearment. :D

I lurves all me pets. I find all their weird peccadilloes amusing and endearing. 'Cept when they plot to kill me, LOL!

7. Your fur-buddies are not _really_ plotting to kill you.
But it does serve their interests to have you believing they're plotting to kill you.

Hi, Lil Missy!

16. LOL! Yeah, I know what you mean. When I say one tried to kill me, it's really hyperbole.
I have one cat who has always been a "problem child"; constantly demanding extra attention, sleeps with me, actually on top of me, always underfoot, follows me everywhere I go, etc.

I know he loves me and considers me his mama, and I have always spoiled him so rotten that he stinks. I would never clip his wings, and always defer to what makes him comfortable and secure.

But the little fart tripped me in the middle of the night a couple months ago when I got up in the dark to go to the biffy. I instinctively lifted my foot so I wouldn't squish him, but subsequently lost my balance and fell flat on my face.

My eyebrow was split open, with blood everywhere. I not only sported a black eye for several weeks, and a broken hand, but injured my entire right side. X-rays on my eye, shoulder, hand, hip, and knee. Plus a CAT scan for a broken eye orbit. $2000 and counting so far.

The cat is fine.

Little Shit!

22. I still lurves him to death.
The little fart has no idea. And he took extra good care of me for a couple days when realized his mama was hurting and feeling badly, and cuddled up real nice. He was worried about me holding an ice pack to my face, among other things.

He's a little lover. :-)

20. He renamed my hard drive, and no I am not making this up
I left the computer open one night, only to come down to find:

* Hard drive renamed ("Ggggggggggg" - it's usually The Annihilatrix)

* New Safari windows opened

* Google searches done (for «|_)

* Machine set in "zoom" mode (cats are nearsighted)

All of these things require multiple keystrokes with shift and/or option keys. To rename the hard drive, the hard drive has to be selected, the name has to be highlighted and new info entered.

:scared:

21. My dear Heidi!
Ginger has such a tough existence, poor little guy!

He looks so abused and neglected!

And you know I'm kidding...

He's gorgeous, and obviously in the prime of his life!

Thanks for sharing his beautiful self with all of us...

I'm getting spoiled, gf...Two days in a row, and you're here posting...

I love it!

23. Regarding being spoiled,
I'll tell you what Ginger says: "Being spoiled is not the same as being indulged. One is 'spoiled' only if one's character has been negatively affected by indulgence." :)

I don't think you're getting spoiled. :loveya:

(Ha! I saw that other Lounge thread where you called yourself the squintiest DUer. I just think you're one of the nicest. :) )

Four minutes ago, I got a photo of WAEBCNG and his brother, Barley, together beside the little pond. Will post it tomorrow and kick the hell out of it so that you can see it. There never ever were two more absolutely different kitty boy brothers.
