I now formally nominate Ed Begley, Jr. as Obama's Vice President. |
|
He's intelligent, socially aware, culturally and intellectually literate, understands the importance and necessity of the arts, and is a brilliant environmentalist.
And unlike Cheney who made his money on war and cleaning up after war (which of course requires the initiation of war), Begley makes money on art and a company that makes environmentally sound cleaning products.
Obama and Begley together would have every important area of knowledge and social concern necessary for human existence. It would be like having Thomas Jefferson back, but without the slavery.

I alone could force journalism to evolve itself back into what it's supposed to be.

4. I would purchase TiVo for the express purpose |

of watching EVERY press conference for the next four years. It would be, as the kids say, "golden".
