Major Panic Attack. Argh.

Our final grades were supposed to be posted online today, so I checked mine. I was taking four classes--three English, one Poli-Sci.

English 101 - A+
Creative Writing: Poetry - A
British Literature 2 - A
American Political Philosophy - NR

NR? Much phone-calling ensued, and I was told by registration that "NR" means "No Record"--basically, that my professor did not report a grade.

WHAT?! *freak, then faint*

She assured me that it was a mistake, and that she would have him fix it and then get back to me as soon as he had. I'm expecting a pretty *good* grade in that class (A or B) so now I'm sitting here nailbiting until it gets fixed. Ugh.

Addendum: While typing this, I was divebombed by an enormous yellowjacket wasp that had somehow gotten into our house. I'm bee-phobic and home alone, so I just spent ten minutes whimpering with my head covered out on the couch, then got up and sprayed the damned thing with a bleach-containing cleaning spray until it fell down and died a horrible death on the windowsill. Somehow I'm not taking this as a good omen. :(

I've just been kind of on-edge about this, because if I manage an A in Poli-Sci, I'll have a 4.0 for the semester, a 4.0 "in-major" (English/Creative Writing), and a 3.7 overall. That means the possibility of scholarship $$$, which I really, really need in order to avoid burying myself in student loan debt. So yeah--kinda stressed about it.

But I'm sure it'll be fine. I'm probably just getting myself all worked-up over nothing.
