Any TV experts in the house? I need help figuring something out
My TV is nine years old, obviously with an analog tuner. I have no cable or satellite service, only
a rabbit ears antenna. As with many TV, mine has a setting where the user indicates whether signals are being received over the air or through cable.

I've noticed that when I'm on the cable setting, I can receive several cable channels with just the rabbit ears. None of the stations come in very strong, and only a couple are good enough to watch, but they're definitely there.

How am I able to get these signals with no cable service and without a cable itself attached to the TV? Where are they coming from?
