I am obviously a hopeless, sentimental romantic.
One of my friends stopped over to visit and we somehow got on the subject of our respective "first time(s)".
She was slightly appalled with me when she realized that she can recall the exact date and time of day that her "incident" occurred, but I can't remember the day, time, month, or even time of year that mine did. I think I've got the year, but I have to do the math in my head to figure it out.

Clearly, I found my experience less remarkable or notable than she did hers.

My first time was the week before my ex got rid of her bunk bed. So it was just that once.

Unfortunately after that, the bed was low enough to the ground that her dogs could get on it... and nothin' ruins the mood quicker than a wet dog nose in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Besides, in '96 I'd just started high school. :P
