We have to go to Kansas to sort out My Mother in Laws Estate who died last month. Not looking forward to it, but hopefully traffic will be sparse and we are getting about 32 mpg. Wife is penciled in for a 2009 Civic (40 MPG.) How bout you??

I did house renovations, mowed the lawn and put up a gazebo.

A trip to New Orleans to start shopping for Mardi Gras related items for our 2009 ball... Costume and backpiece work for aforementioned ball... Sleep... Perhaps some grilling of tasty things.... More sleep.... And probably will drain the hot tub- nobody wants to get in the thing in the summer.

13. I'm spending a weekend fishing and hanging out on my friend's cattle farm in rural Georgia.

She inherited the family farm and is continuing the tradition of raising beef cattle! (I asked her if she names the cows. She said "Yeah, Sunday Supper and Paycheck."

My boyfriend and I will be staying in her grandfather's 19th century cabin which is now the guest house! We're going to fish and party and enjoy being WAY out the country in a beautiful and historic area of northeast Georgia!

Our Dem club will have a table in the Free Speech area, and we will be registering folks to vote, handing out election materials and like that!

I'll be there from 1 to 4 PM Sat, Sun, and Mon!

i love Monterey, thats were we hope to move once my daughter goes to college. the Monterey Bay hotel i think is my favorite place in the world to stay. I haven't been since they were doing the renovations at the aquarium but when my sister and her kids comes to visit were staying there.

My brother and I are flying to Albuquerque to see Iron Maiden on Sunday night. He's always wanted to see them, and they're not coming anywhere near us.

So, I checked airfare, and for $240 total we're flying to/from ABQ. Time to lose my hearing!

I've heard good things about this tour, but try not to read anything so it's a surprise when I get there.

The only disappointment from that tour was that they didn't play Wasted Years. But from what I've heard about the timeframe of the music they're playing, there's a better chance of it being there. I think Wasted Years was the first song of theirs I heard. It was another one of those moments.

"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT? And why don't I own that album yet?" That's how I found Megadeth, Headbanger's Ball played Peace Sells and I was hooked.
