How come everytime I turn on the tv there is one of the Aliens movie on.

Alien is on right now.

1. "A League of Their Own" appears to have taken over the

television here. It was running on two different stations the other day.

2. I like that movie.

I met a woman that played on one of teams, I don't remember the team.

I find it better to just watch and enjoy the movie.

I still do. Just not every day. I love Geena Davis and wish she could have remained president.

I didn't watch TV for awhile so I missed alot of shows, just now catching up.

6. It was such a well written, well acted show.

It still irritates me that the network killed it. Geena won an Emmy for it and then they "put it on haitus" while they introduced another show that was lame...and it just never came back.

9. Kyle Secor played her husband, very well, in fact.

The show really explored the relationship changing from her being VP (the pres dies) and her husband being her chief of staff, and then her demoting him when she became President. Not because he did a bad job but in an effort to blend the voted in president's staff with her own. She was not really wanted as VP, but chosen for the votes( She was an independant chosen by a Republican, basically. I won't say anymore except to say that Donald Sutherland plays a perfect nasty Republican Speaker of the House.

8. Independence Day was another one Encore showed to death.

For awhile I didn't turn to any of the Encore channels because of Tombstone always being on.

I left the room and came back and there Tombstone was.

This is my purpose in life, to watch these two movies over and over.

13. I just checked and Alien starts here pretty soon but if you'd like something that's

the complete opposite and you have Oxygen, Pride and Prejudice is starting again in another hour. I will be watching Alien for the 20th time.

20. after seeing Indiana Jones today i think i've been a wee bit too hard on Alien 3.

i liked resurrection, was it perfect, no but it was still enjoyable.

which is why you'll never see Robocop achieve the same status
